A highlight of the Eastern Cape, Addo Elephant National Park offers some of the best elephant viewing in the world.

Addo Elephant National Park was formed in 1931 to protect the remaining eleven Addo elephants after nearly being wiped out from hunting and war. Today the Addo Elephant National Park is the 3rd biggest park in South Africa, protecting a wide range of fauna and flora through park expansion. The elephant population thrives today due to the effective conservation effort by SAN Parks. It’s well worth visiting, so put this high on your list of must-see places to visit.
