I had never been to Hogsback before and had heard so many people raving about it as a weekend getaway destination. Al and Cands, really special friends of ours, invited us to join their family for a fun weekend in Hogsback last year. Hiking in Hogsback is a great family activity. We stayed at Al’s folk’s place, Hidden Away B&B, in the cottage surrounded by their award-winning garden. You have to see the garden to appreciate it, it is spectacular. We missed the snow, but that just means we will have to go back to explore Hogsback some more. 

Below is the video of our hike up to the waterfall above Madonna & Child. The trail was fairly easy to hike, even for the kids. It is a good climb, with only a few sections that get quite steep.
